Your privacy

My Festival is provided by Ecomm Producers LLC. This policy explains information used by the iPhone app and its Apple Watch companion.

Information on your devices

Plans: The festival name, date and activity hours, meetup landmark, meeting time, waiting window, fallback, return destination, transport details and notes you enter are saved locally so you can reopen them offline. The app does not upload your plans to an app server.

Apple Health: If you connect Apple Health, the app reads only the steps, walking and running distance, and heart-rate information you choose to make available. Chart readings are held temporarily in memory, rather than copied to an app database or sent to us. This version does not write workouts or modify your Health records. Apple manages Health storage and syncing under your system settings.

Optional dance estimates: If you enable this feature, the iPhone uses Motion and Location, including location updates while running in the background, during your selected activity hours. Local recaps can contain timestamps, coordinates and location accuracy, movement summaries, step counts, activity classifications and battery measurements. Older recaps can also contain labels, stage names and pulse readings. The current phone collector does not measure heart rate. Raw motion samples are summarized rather than retained as a raw sensor stream. Before the activity window, significant location changes may wake the app, but those wake-up coordinates are not saved. Tracking can be incomplete and can increase battery use.

Preferences: Appearance, Health-reading and dance-estimate choices are stored on your device.

Transfers and sharing

Festival name, date and activity hours can sync automatically to your paired Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity service. Earlier completed Watch recaps may transfer to your paired iPhone, including queued transfers. Each device's stored copy is separate. The current Watch companion does not create new workouts or collect dance estimates.

Plan sharing, copying and recap export occur when you choose them. Exports may include sensitive location and activity information. Review the data and recipient before using a share or export option. The receiving app or service handles the copy you send under its own terms and privacy policy; My Festival cannot recall that copy or confirm delivery.

The app has no advertising, third-party analytics SDK, tracking SDK, account system, or app server. We do not receive the app's plans, Health readings, motion or location records automatically, and do not use them for advertising, marketing, or data brokerage. Apple may collect and provide diagnostics or feedback according to your Apple settings and distribution program choices.

Retention, deletion and permission choices

Local plans and recaps remain until you remove them or delete the app from that device. Offloading an app is different from deleting its data. Remove meetup and return plans in their editors; remove recorded recaps in Activity → Previous nights. Deleting the app also removes its remaining local event details and preferences. App plan and recording files use operating-system file protection and are excluded from app backups. There is no app cloud backup or recovery service, so losing the only device or copy can lose these records.

Turn off Health readings or dance estimates in Activity → Settings. You can also revoke Health access in Apple Health or system settings and revoke Motion/Location access in iPhone settings. Turning a feature off stops new use; it does not erase earlier recaps. Deleting local app records does not delete exported copies, another device's copy or Apple Health data. Manage each of those separately.

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. Cloudflare routes these messages to our support inbox, hosted by Google. We use correspondence to respond, troubleshoot and handle your request, and keep it as needed for those purposes and applicable recordkeeping obligations. You can ask us to delete support correspondence; we may need to retain information required to resolve an outstanding issue or meet a legal obligation. Health records and exact location histories are not needed for routine support.

Website and policy updates

Our website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Loading a page sends ordinary web request information, such as your IP address, requested URL and browser information, to Cloudflare so it can deliver and secure the site. We do not add advertising pixels, analytics scripts, cookies or contact forms to this site, or configure a separate visitor-log database. Cloudflare handles service data under its privacy policy. This website does not receive the app’s Health, motion or location records.

This policy may change if our features or information practices change. The effective date above identifies the current revision.
